Free-machining martensitic grade that can be hardened by heat treatment.
Free-Cutting
Lead-added version of phosphor bronze for improved machinability while retaining good mechanical and electrical properties.
Red Brass
C83600
Also known as “Composition Bronze” or “Ounce Metal.” Excellent castability and corrosion resistance for valve and fitting applications.
Manganese Bronze
C51000
High-strength alloy with excellent wear resistance and load-bearing capacity. Can be heat treated for higher strength.
Silicon Bronze
C65500
Excellent corrosion resistance and weldability. Often used for architectural applications and corrosion-resistant hardware.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between C93200 and C95400 bronze?
Which bronze alloy is best for marine applications?
For marine applications, C95400 aluminum bronze and C95500 nickel-aluminum bronze are the top choices due to their excellent corrosion resistance in seawater. C65500 silicon bronze is also a good option for marine hardware that requires welding. For propellers and heavy-duty marine components, C95500 offers the best combination of strength and corrosion resistance.
Which bronze is easiest to machine?
C93200 bearing bronze and C83600 red brass are the easiest to machine due to their lead content. C54400 free-cutting phosphor bronze is also excellent for machining. Aluminum bronzes (C95400, C95500) are more difficult to machine due to their hardness but offer superior strength and corrosion resistance.
What file formats do you accept for designs?
3D+2D drawings, preferred formats below:
- STEP (.stp)
- IGES (.igs)
- PDF drawings (with GD&T callouts)
What are your standard lead times?
It’s really depends on your project. For reference, our normal lead time for most projects is within 2-4 weeks. We highly suggest you let us know your requirements during communication, then we will check and get back to you.
Do you offer design assistance?
Yes, our engineering team provides design for manufacturability (DFM) feedback to help optimize your designs for CNC machining.
What is your minimum order quantity?
We don’t have a minimum order quantity. We can produce a single prototype or thousands of parts depending on your needs.
What is your return policy?
At Metalicnc, every product goes through strict verification—from trial production and inspection testing to customer confirmation—before shipment. Our quality assurance process ensures that all parts meet the agreed specifications before delivery, minimizing the risk of nonconformities. We take pride in our precision and reliability, and every shipment is the result of a joint confirmation between our engineers and customers.
In the rare event that a delivered part does not meet the agreed specifications, we follows a transparent and responsible after-sales process. Customers can submit a claim with inspection data, photos, or videos clearly indicating the nonconforming features. Our quality team will review the case within 48 hours to identify root causes—whether related to design, machining, material, or logistics.
Based on the assessment, we provide appropriate solutions such as rework, remake, partial refund, or credit, in line with the order terms. All cases are fully documented and backed by inspection records to ensure traceability. To help us resolve issues faster, customers should retain original samples and all supporting evidence. Each case also feeds into our continuous improvement system to further enhance product quality and customer satisfaction
